Five grabs in Sunday's finale
Lamb caught five of seven targets for 43 yards in Sunday's loss to the Giants, adding three rushing yards on his only carry.
Analysis: The 17th overall pick in the 2020 draft more than lived up to his prospect hype with a strong rookie season, as Lamb posted a 74-935-5 line on 111 targets despite losing his starting quarterback, Dak Prescott (ankle), in Week 5. Had Prescott stayed under center, Lamb might have been neck and neck with Minnesota's Justin Jefferson in a race to re-write the rookie WR record book -- he was on pace for 93 catches and 1,385 yards through his first five games. Assuming Prescott is back and healthy in…read more

Finds end zone twice against Eagles
Lamb caught three of five targets for 65 yards and a touchdown and added a second TD on a 19-yard carry in Sunday's 37-17 win over the Eagles.
Analysis: While he managed only about half of the yardage Michael Gallup or Amari Cooper did through the air, Lamb made up for it with his fourth-quarter touchdown run, capping the scoring in the rout. The rookie has now scored seven TDs on the season -- five receiving, one rushing and one on last week's return of an onside kick -- and he needs 108 more receiving yards for 1,000 on the year. Lamb will take aim at that milestone in Week 17's clash with the Giants, as both teams remain alive in the hunt…read more

Scores on onside kick return
Lamb caught five of seven targets for 85 yards and scored a touchdown on an onside kick return during Sunday's 41-33 win over the 49ers.
Analysis: Lamb averaged an impressive 17.0 yards per catch thanks in large part to a career-long 45-yard reception. He finished with his third-best receiving output of the season and topped off his day with a touchdown on an onside kick return in the final moments. This strong showing represented Lamb's third-best receiving output of the season and his best since Week 5. He'll look to add to his impressive rookie numbers next Sunday against the Eagles.

Just two catches in win
Lamb caught both his targets for 46 yards and gained 15 rushing yards on one carry in Sunday's 30-7 win over the Bengals.
Analysis: The Cowboys' passing game didn't need to do much after three early Cincinnati fumbles led to 17 first-half points for Dallas, but Lamb made the most of his limited opportunities. The two targets were a season low for the rookie, and he hasn't reached 50 receiving yards in four straight games heading into Week 15's clash with the 49ers.

Tallies six grabs in loss
Lamb secured six of nine targets for 46 yards in the Cowboys' 34-17 loss to the Ravens on Tuesday night.
Analysis: The rookie was particularly involved in the first half, and even though his involvement waned in the latter portions of the contest, he still finished second to Michael Gallup in targets, receptions and receiving yards. Lamb's now gone without a touchdown in two straight contests following back-to-back games with a score, so he'll look to start a new streak at the expense of the Bengals in Week 14.

Five catches against Washington
Lamb caught five of seven targets for 21 yards in Thursday's loss to Washington.
Analysis: He saw only one less catch and one less target than Amari Cooper or Michael Gallup, but the rookie receiver did very little with his opportunities and dropped what should have been a 10-yard touchdown late in the third quarter when the game's outcome was still in doubt. Lamb has now failed to top 40 yards in four of the last five games, posting a 17-153-2 line on 30 targets over that stretch, but his steady target volume should keep him on the fantasy radar even if he's little more than a…read more

TD grab in win over Vikings
Lamb caught four of six targets for 34 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 31-28 win over the Vikings. He also gained 12 rushing yards on two carries and ran in a two-point conversion.
Analysis: While the rookie didn't gain much real estate, Lamb grabbed his fourth TD of the season in the second quarter on a four-yard toss from Andy Dalton. The entire Cowboys offense looked much improved after the team's bye with Dalton back under center, and as a result Lamb's fantasy fortunes are on the upswing again heading into a Thanksgiving clash with Washington.

Hauls in third TD in loss
Lamb caught four of seven targets for 71 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 24-19 loss to the Steelers.
Analysis: The switch to Garrett Gilbert at quarterback restored a bit of a spark to the Cowboys' passing game, and Lamb put together his best performance since Dak Prescott (ankle) was injured, with his second-quarter TD giving the Cowboys a surprising 10-0 lead that eventually evaporated. Despite the turmoil around him, the rookie wideout continues to impress, but whether Gilbert or Andy Dalton (concussion/illness) will be throwing him passes coming out of the team's Week 10 bye remains to be seen.

Five touches in SNF loss
Lamb caught four of five targets for 27 yards while adding 19 yards on his lone carry in Sunday's 23-9 loss to the Eagles.
Analysis: Lamb was held without a catch last week, so while his production was modest at best, it was actually a step in the right direction during the Ben Dinucci Era. The talented rookie is unlikely to put up those triple-digit receiving games we saw earlier this year until Dak Prescott (leg) returns next season, and it looks like he may not be posting any useful fantasy lines so long as the team is deploying its third-string quarterback. Andy Dalton (concussion) could return this week, but the…read more

Held without a catch
Lamb failed to catch any of his five targets and gained one yard on his lone rushing attempt during Sunday's 25-3 loss to the Football Team.
Analysis: Lamb couldn't bring in any passes from Andy Dalton (concussion) and hardly stood a chance on any of the looks rookie third-string quarterback Ben DiNucci sent his way after entering the game. He had at least five receptions and seven targets in every game entering this contest, so the goose egg was a large departure from what fantasy managers had come to expect. Lamb's struggles could continue in next Sunday night's game against the Eagles if the team can't field a competent starter at…read more

Team-high reception tally Monday
Lamb hauled in seven of 10 targets for 64 yards in the Cowboys' 38-10 loss to the Cardinals on Monday night. He also netted one yard on two punt returns and fumbled once but recovered.
Analysis: Lamb tied Amari Cooper for the team lead in receptions while checking in second to him in receiving yardage. New starter Andy Dalton locked in on Lamb frequently during the second half, although as the rookie receiver's final line demonstrates, almost all of the throws were very close to the line of scrimmage. The fact that Lamb logged a double-digit target total in his first game with Dalton under center gives fantasy managers reason for optimism, and he'll look to put together another…read more

Career-high yardage in win
Lamb caught eight of 11 targets for a career-high 124 yards in Sunday's 37-34 win over the Giants.
Analysis: The rookie was Dak Prescott's favorite target through the early part of the game, and no other Cowboys receiver ended the afternoon with more than four targets. However, after Prescott left in the third quarter with a likely season-ending ankle injury and Andy Dalton took over under center, it was Michael Gallup who was on the end of two huge completions to set up the game-winning field goal. It remains to be seen what the Dallas passing game will look like with Dalton taking the reins, but…read more

Scores first two TDs
Lamb caught five of seven targets for 79 yards and two touchdowns while adding one three-yard carry during Sunday's 49-38 loss to the Browns.
Analysis: Lamb was wide open for a 43-yard touchdown in the first quarter and capped off his team's scoring for the day with a five-yard strike in the fourth. He had yet to reach the end zone through his first three NFL games, so his ability to get behind the defense and his usage in the red zone Sunday were positive developments for his future fantasy value. Moreover, Lamb finished second on the team in receiving yards and is now on pace for over 1,200 yards in his rookie year, making him a viable…read more

Solid numbers in loss
Lamb caught five of six targets for 65 yards and gained one rushing yard on one carry in Sunday's 38-31 loss to the Seahawks.
Analysis: In a vacuum it looks like a solid performance, but Lamb actually finished fourth on the Cowboys in receiving yards on a day when Dak Prescott aired it out 57 times. The rookie wideout has looked good to begin his career, catching 16 of 21 targets for 230 yards and a TD through three games, and he'll try to add to those numbers Week 4 against a Browns defense that's already given up five touchdowns to opposing WRs.

Team's top receiver against Atlanta
Lamb hauled in six of nine targets for 106 receiving yards during Sunday's 40-39 win against the Falcons.
Analysis: The first-round rookie wideout had an encouraging yet modest NFL debut last week, registering 59 receiving yards on five catches. However, Week 2 marked his breakout. Lamb and Amari Cooper torched the depleted Falcons secondary, combining for a dozen catches and more than 200 yards on the afternoon. Lamb contributed an enormous play in the waning stages of Sunday's contest, tearing off a 24-yard gain on Dallas' final drive to set up Greg Zuerlein with a 46-yard field goal for the walkoff win.…read more

Posts 59 yards in NFL debut
Lamb had five catches (six targets) for 59 yards in a 20-17 loss to the Rams on Sunday.
Analysis: Lamb made a big splash with a 33-yard reception on a deep crossing pattern, but it was otherwise a quiet night for the 17th overall pick in his NFL debut. Even without a preseason, the rookie didn't look overmatched in his first taste of action against an NFL defense (and a good one at that). Amari Cooper led all Cowboy wideouts by a wide margin in terms of receptions (10) and targets (14), so it appears Lamb and fellow starter Michael Gallup (three receptions for 50 yards) will share No. 2…read more

Continues to impress in camp
Lamb has lined up both outside and in the slot during camp and has looked comfortable in all formations, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Offensive coordinator Kellen Moore seems intent on finding ways to get the ball into the rookie's hands, as Lamb has been used on jet sweeps and reverses as well. It remains to be seen how big a workload Lamb can carve out working behind established options Ezekiel Elliott, Amari Cooper and Michael Gallup this season, but he has the talent to make an impact on a per-touch basis even if he doesn't get a lot of volume.

Wows with one-handed grab
Lamb made a big impression during individual drills Friday by making a spectacular one-handed grab, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Analysis: While the catch itself was noteworthy enough, Lamb also got a chance to showcase his elite body control as he adjusted to a throw that was high and behind him. The rookie also took reps as a punt returner, but it's his ability as a receiver in a potentially high-volume Dallas passing game that gives Lamb such intrigue as a fantasy asset, even with Amari Cooper and Michael Gallup ahead of him on the depth chart.

Could make impact as returner
Lamb could be used as the Cowboys' primary punt returner in addition to his duties on offense, Nick Eatman of DallasCowboys.com reports.
Analysis: Dallas hasn't had a player return a punt for a touchdown since 2017 and didn't have a single punt return over 15 yards last season, so the door is wide open for Lamb to seize the job. The rookie receiver had three returns of 40-plus yards during his college career and an 8.8 yard average on punt returns, and his elusiveness in the open field could make him a weapon on new coach John Fassel's special teams unit.
