Snags TD to finish season
Parham caught three of his four targets for 37 yards and a touchdown in the 38-21 win over the Chiefs on Sunday.
Analysis: Parham again got the start with Hunter Henry on the reserve/COVID-19 list and put together a second consecutive respectable outing. The former XFL tight end concludes his first campaign in the NFL with 10 receptions for 159 yards and three touchdowns, but the 6-foot-8 behemoth should be poised for at minimum a depth role next year after having to fight for a roster spot entering the 2020 campaign.

Full practice Thursday
Parham (illness) practiced fully Thursday.
Analysis: With Hunter Henry still on the reserve/COVID-19 list, Parham could be in line for an expanded role again Week 17 if Henry isn't activated in advance of Sunday's contest against Kansas City. In such a scenario, Parham would continue to work in a tight end timeshare with Stephen Anderson. In the Chargers' Week 16 win over the Broncos, Parham caught two of his three targets for 47 yards, while Anderson chipped in four catches (on six targets) for 48 yards.

Resumes practicing
Parham (illness) was back at practice Thursday, Gilbert Manzano of The Orange County Register reports.
Analysis: It remains to be seen if he'll be listed as a full or limited participant, but with Hunter Henry still on the reserve/COVID-19 list as of Thursday, Parham could be in line for added work again Week 17 if Henry isn't activated before Sunday's game against Kansas City.

Misses practice Wednesday
Parham didn't practice Wednesday due to an illness.
Analysis: With Hunter Henry on the reserve/COVID-19 list and Parham now dealing with an unspecified ailment, Stephen Anderson is the Chargers' top healthy tight end at this stage of the week. While Henry sat out last week's win over Denver, Parham played 81 percent of the Chargers' offensive snaps and finished with two receptions for 47 yards on three targets.

Gets start in win
Parham caught two of his three targets for 47 yards in Sunday's 19-16 win over the Broncos.
Analysis: Parham got the start in place of Hunter Henry (reserve/COVID-19 list) and played 81 percent of the team's offensive snaps, but the XFL star was overshadowed by Stephen Anderson who nearly led the team in receiving. The lack of targets is slightly troubling considering Parham previously appeared to have the one-up on Anderson for the team's backup TE spot, but the massive difference in snap count should still give fantasy managers some semblance of confidence in using the 6-foot-8 option if…read more

Likely starting this week
Coach Anthony Lynn said Parham will start at tight end if Hunter Henry isn't removed from the COVID-19 list for Sunday's game against the Broncos, Gilbert Manzano of The Orange County Register reports.
Analysis: With Henry looking unlikely to play, Parham and Stephen Anderson are the only tight ends on the roster. The Chargers may promote Matt Sokol from the practice squad before Sunday's game, but Parham still will be the favorite to get targets. The 6-foot-8 tight end had 307 yards and four touchdowns in five XFL games earlier this year, but he's caught just five of 15 targets for 75 yards and two TDs for the Chargers, averaging 12.5 offensive snaps in 11 appearances.

Season high in receptions
Parham caught two of his four targets for 21 yards in Sunday's 45-0 loss against the Patriots.
Analysis: Parham did see a season-high in receptions (two), targets (four), yards (21) and snaps (19), but it's a byproduct of the Patriots taking away most of the Chargers' offensive options. Next week, the 23-year-old will likely revert back to his minimal role as the Chargers take on the Falcons, whose weak defense to tight ends will allow for Hunter Henry to see more opportunities.

No targets against Jets
Parham didn't receive a target in Sunday's win over the Jets.
Analysis: The 23-year-old tight end failed to catch a pass for the third time in four games. Parham has enjoyed some success this year with two of his three receptions happening in the end zone. However, his upside is severely capped as the No. 2 option behind Hunter Henry.

No receptions in loss
Parham caught zero of his three targets in Sunday's 31-26 loss to the Raiders.
Analysis: Parham's most memorable target came on the game's final play when quarterback Justin Herbert attempted to hit the 6-foot-8 tight end on a game-winning fade toward the upper right corner of the end zone only for the pass to be ruled incomplete upon review. Virgil Green (ankle) remains on IR, which gives Parham the opportunity to contribute more to the Chargers' offense, but it's hard to expect much from the big-bodied target. The tight end played a mere nine snaps Sunday and will most likely…read more

Zero targets
Parham did not see any targets in Sunday's 31-30 loss against Denver.
Analysis: Parham played a paltry 10 offensive snaps in the absence of Virgil Green (ankle) who was placed on IR. Not surprisingly, the former XFL standout wasn't able to replicate his one-touchdown performance from last week and hardly figures to be an attractive fantasy asset so long as Hunter Henry (84 snaps Sunday) remains healthy.

Touchdown in win
Parham caught one target for 22 yards and scored a touchdown in Sunday's 39-29 win against the Jaguars.
Analysis: Justin Herbert targeted the tight end for a 22-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter accounting for his first and only score of the game. No. 2 tight end Virgil Green suffered an ankle injury during the third quarter and will most likely be placed on injured reserve, which should push Parham to the No. 2 role behind Hunter Henry, although Stephen Anderson could also play a factor as well. In any case, Parham's touchdowns have mostly been a byproduct of well designed plays as opposed to any…read more

Targeted once in loss
Parham failed to haul in his lone target in Monday's 30-27 overtime loss to the Saints.
Analysis: After turning his first career target into a 19-yard touchdown reception Week 4 against the Buccaneers, Parham wasn't quite as lucky Monday. The former XFL standout remains an intriguing prospect, but so long as Hunter Henry is healthy, Parham likely won't have a consistent role in the Los Angeles passing game.

Catches touchdown in lone snap
Parham caught his only target for a 19-yard touchdown in the 38-31 loss to the Buccaneers on Sunday.
Analysis: The XFL star actually saw just one snap the entire game, but he made it count with a nifty touchdown reception off a well-designed play-action pass in the second quarter. Parham has been a healthy inactive in each of the past three games prior to Sunday, so it's unlikely this will be anything more than a career footnote unless injuries affect the top of the Chargers' tight end depth chart.

Inactive Week 2
Parham (coach's decision) will not suit up for Los Angeles' Week 2 matchup against the Chiefs, per the Chargers' official Twitter account.
Analysis: The Stetson product still waits for the chance to make his NFL regular-season debut, after playing for the XFL's Dallas Renegades this past winter. Hunter Henry will, of course, serve as the starter against Kansas City, while Virgil Green and Stephen Anderson stand to see action in multi-tight end sets.
