Productive early in 2020
Wilson caught 17 of 28 targets for 189 yards and two touchdowns while playing in all 16 games for the Cowboys in 2020.
Analysis: The second-year wideout surprisingly emerged as a threat in a deep Dallas receiving corps early in the season, when Dak Prescott (ankle) was on a record-setting pace and the defense was ensuring a shootout almost every week. Wilson's biggest game came in Week 3, when he hauled in 107 yards and two TDs from Prescott, but he returned the favor two weeks later when he tossed an 11-yard touchdown to Prescott on a trick play. Once the Cowboys lost their starting QB for the season, however, Wilson's…read more

Catchless streak continues
Wilson was not targeted during Sunday's 37-17 win against the Eagles.
Analysis: During a vital Week 16 win, Wilson fielded 12 or more offensive snaps for the fifth time over his past six appearances. The 25-year-old continues to find himself in the midst of a production slump, however, remaining without a reception since Week 11. Wilson's most notable outing this season came when he racked up five catches for 107 yards and two touchdowns Sept. 27 at Seattle. But in his 10 game appearances since Dak Prescott's season-ending ankle injury, Wilson hasn't exceeded 10 receiving…read more

No targets once again
Wilson didn't receive a target in Sunday's 41-33 win over the 49ers.
Analysis: Wilson didn't command a target for a fourth straight week. The third-year wide receiver's 5-107-2 performance in Week 3 against the Seahawks seems like ages ago.

Second straight targetless outing
Wilson didn't receive a target in Tuesday's 34-17 loss to the Ravens.
Analysis: Cowboys quarterback Andy Dalton threw the ball 48 times Tuesday but didn't look Wilson's way for a second straight game. Wilson played 20 snaps (25 percent) and has handled a similar workload for most of the year. It'll be tough to get much tread as long as Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup and CeeDee Lamb are healthy.

Goes without target on Thanksgiving
Wilson did not garner a target over 12 offensive snaps during Thursday's 41-16 loss to Washington. His lone rush attempt went for a one-yard loss.
Analysis: Wilson will forever be tied to a dumbfounding coaching decision by Mike McCarthy and the Cowboys special-teams group, as his rush attempt on a fake punt in the fourth quarter failed miserably, turning the tide permanently in Washington's favor. The 25-year-old had posted receptions in consecutive games entering the Thanksgiving matchup, but his offensive contributions have been mostly forgettable since a 107-yard, two-touchdown effort Week 3 against Seattle. Over his past eight outings, Wilson…read more

Reels in one pass
Wilson caught one of two targets for seven yards in Sunday's 31-28 win over the Vikings.
Analysis: Since the explosive 5-107-2 game back in Week 3, Wilson has averaged just 1.6 receptions and 11.3 receiving yards per game, totaling no touchdowns in that stretch. Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup and CeeDee Lamb are expected to continue handling a bulk of the workload on offense.

Posts one catch in loss to Steelers
Wilson hauled in one of his three targets for six receiving yards during Sunday's 24-19 loss to the Steelers.
Analysis: With a pair of drops over his first 25 targets of 2020, it comes as no great surprise that Wilson's workload has been curtailed in recent weeks. Certainly a season-ending ankle injury to the electrifying Dak Prescott has factored into Wilson's reduced production as well. The 2018 sixth-round draft choice has just one catch on five combined targets over his past three outings, after collecting 173 receiving yards on 20 targets between Weeks 3 and 6.

Blanked against Eagles
Wilson recorded no receptions on two targets during Sunday night's 23-9 loss to Philadelphia.
Analysis: Wilson was heating up over Dak Prescott's final three appearances of the year between Weeks 3 and 5, but a season-ending ankle injury to the star quarterback fizzled out the receiver's production. The Boise State standout collected 12 receptions for 163 yards and two touchdowns during that three-week span, but he's gone catchless over his past two games with Andy Dalton (concussion) and Ben DiNucci under center.

No catches in anemic offensive game
Wilson attracted zero targets during Sunday's 25-3 loss to Washington.
Analysis: Wilson's production has been steadily trending downward since his 107-yard, two-touchdown effort against the Seahawks in Week 3. He had averaged 22 receiving yards Weeks 4 through 6, and Sunday against Washington he was held without a catch for the third time this season. Dallas' offense has been struggling mightily since Dak Prescott suffered a season-ending ankle injury Oct. 11 against the Giants, and things went from bad to worse when Andy Dalton entered concussion protocol during the Week 7…read more

Not on Wednesday's report
Wilson (ribs) isn't listed on Wednesday's injury report.
Analysis: Wilson has played between 20 and 30 percent of the offensive snaps in each of the last four games, totaling 14 catches (on 20 targets) for 173 yards and two touchdowns. The vast majority of that production (5-107-2 on seven targets) came Week 3 at Seattle, and with the change from Dak Prescott (ankle) to Andy Dalton under center, it may be difficult to project much production from Wilson on a week-to-week basis.

Not much action in loss
Wilson caught two of three targets for 10 yards in Monday's 38-10 loss to the Cardinals.
Analysis: Wilson appeared to injure his ribs after a hard collision on a catch attempt during the third quarter, although it's unclear how serious the injury might be. The receiver only saw 25 offensive snaps and his status for Week 7's game against Washington is up in the air.

Tosses TD pass on trick play
Wilson caught all four of his targets for 22 yards and threw an 11-yard touchdown pass to Dak Prescott (ankle) in Sunday's win over the Giants.
Analysis: Cowboys offensive coordinator Kellen Moore continue to find creative ways to get his No. 4 wide receiver involved. In this game, Wilson took a pitch from Prescott on an apparent reverse, only to throw the ball back to a wide-open QB for a score. With Prescott now lost for the season, however, and Andy Dalton taking over under center, Wilson's role could change or even disappear if the offense puts more emphasis on the running game.

Stays active Sunday
Wilson caught three of six targets for 34 yards in Sunday's loss to the Browns.
Analysis: While he predictably didn't come close to matching his two-TD performance from the week before, Wilson still saw a surprising amount of action in another late comeback attempt by Dallas, and he even got more targets than Michael Gallup. Wilson could be less involved in the passing game Week 5, however, if the Cowboys can avoid digging a big hole against the Giants.

Career day in Seattle
Wilson caught five of seven targets for 107 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 38-31 loss to the Seahawks.
Analysis: The 25-year-old came into the game with only five catches for 46 yards in his career, but Wilson blew those numbers out of the water while scoring his first two TDs in the NFL. Both scores came on similar routes, as Wilson caught slants from Dak Prescott in the second and third quarters and took them to the house, with the receptions going for 40 and 42 yards, respectively. Despite the huge performance, he's still the No. 4 man on the depth chart, and Prescott won't attempt more than 50 passes…read more

Solidifying hold on No. 4 WR spot
Wilson spent extra time working out with Dak Prescott in the offseason and has put together an impressive camp to date, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: A sixth-round pick in 2018, Wilson has good size and athleticism but hasn't yet been consistently healthy enough to make any kind of impact for the Cowboys. Even if he avoids further injuries, there aren't likely to be a lot of targets available in an offense that already needs to account for Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup, 2020 first-round pick CeeDee Lamb and Ezekiel Elliott, but Wilson at least seems to be locking down the No. 4 spot on the wide receiver depth chart.

Set for 2020
Wilson (knee) is ready to go for the upcoming season, John Owning of DallasNews.com reports.
Analysis: Wilson's 2019 season ended in December due to a knee injury. The issue was not considered especially serious and surgery was not required, and he now appears on track to hit the ground running in 2020. The 24-year-old suited up for just six games prior to going down with the injury and recorded five receptions for 46 yards in the process. While Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup and rookie CeeDee Lamb are clearly on top of the Cowboys' receiving pecking order, Wilson is a strong candidate to…read more

Heads to IR
Wilson (knee) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday.
Analysis: Wilson avoided a serious knee injury and won't need surgery, but he'll be shut down for the rest of the year. The second-year pro out of Boise State played in six games this year, hauling in five of eight targets for 46 yards while also contributing as a returner. Wilson will aim to get healthy for the team's offseason program.

Avoids surgery
Wilson has been diagnosed with a sprained knee, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Analysis: The good news for Wilson is his ACL is okay, so his recovery will be much shorter than initially feared. The bad news is the Boise State product is a candidate for injured reserve given how late it is in the season. Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News added that the 24-year-old is projected to miss four to six weeks.

On crutches Thursday
Wilson was spotted on crutches following Thursday's loss to the Bears, noting that while an X-Ray he received did not show structural damage to his injured left knee, he will undergo an MRI Friday, Michael Gehlken of the Dallas Morning News reports.
Analysis: Wilson appeared to tweak his left knee during the waning moments of the fourth quarter while attempting to haul in a long pass. It sounds as if the receiver's injury may be serious, in which case Devin Smith would figure to see more snaps. Wilson only has five catches for 46 yards on the year, however, so his absence shouldn't create much of a gap in the Cowboys' passing attack.

Will watch from sidelines Sunday
Wilson (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Lions, David Helman of the Cowboys' official site reports.
Analysis: Wilson is scratched for a third straight contest. The second-year pro was only deployed when injuries surfaced, so it's not surprising that he's sitting out since the Cowboys have five healthy wideouts.
