Inks future contract with Titans
Kizer signed a reserve/future contract with the Titans on Monday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.
Analysis: Kizer was cut from the Raiders' practice squad in September and eventually latched on with the Titans' practice roster in late November. The 25-year-old quarterback never was called up for any game action, and he hasn't played since logging three games with the Packers back in 2018. In those contests, Kizer completed 20 of 42 passes for 187 yards (4.5 YPA), no touchdowns and two interceptions. The 2017 second-round pick will battle to be Ryan Tannehill's backup next season.

Lands on practice squad
The Titans signed Kizer to the practice squad Tuesday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.
Analysis: Kizer visited Chicago and Tennessee last week and ultimately chose the latter. The 2017 second-round pick last played in 2018 for the Packers, when he completed 20 of 42 passes for 187 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions over three games. With the playoffs in sight, Kizer is the Titans' No. 3 quarterback behind Ryan Tannehill and Logan Woodside.

Joins Chicago's practice squad
Kizer is expected to sign with the Bears' practice squad, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Analysis: This move comes on Chicago's bye week, as it is looking for more quarterback depth in the organization. Both Nick Foles (hip) and Mitchell Trubisky (shoulder) are currently dealing with nagging injuries. The Notre Dame product will now join fellow quarterback Tyler Bray on the practice squad. He has not seen any regular-season action since he was with the Packers in 2018.

Scheduled for visit with Bears
The Bears are scheduled to host Kizer for a tryout, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
Analysis: The Bears are currently on bye and in need of quarterback depth, with both Nick Foles (hip) and Mitchell Trubisky (shoulder) looking uncertain for Week 12. The team also has Tyler Bray on the practice squad. Kizer hasn't seen regular-season action since he was with the Packers in 2018, but he recently spent time with the Raiders prior to being cut in September.

Let go by Raiders
Kizer was cut by Las Vegas on Wednesday, per the NFL's official transaction report.
Analysis: Kizer earned a shot back with the Raiders on the practice squad after he was waived by the club in May. The 24-year-old hasn't played since 2018, when he was with the Packers and completed 20 of 42 passes for 187 yards, zero touchdowns and two interceptions. Kizer has struggled to work himself back into the league, however, he'll be able to sign with any team to restart his career.

Finds practice squad role
The Raiders signed Kizer to the practice squad Monday, Vincent Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.
Analysis: Kizer was cut by the Raiders back in May and didn't work with them through training camp, but he'll serve as additional depth for the team's quarterback room. The 24-year-old hasn't played since 2018, when he was with the Packers when he completed 20 of 42 passes for 187 yards, zero touchdowns and two interceptions. The 2017 second-round pick has struggled to establish himself in the league, but this provide him with an opportunity to learn from head coach Jon Gruden as he looks to restart his…read more

Cut by Las Vegas
The Raiders waived Kizer on Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Analysis: The Las Vegas quarterback room became more crowded this offseason following the addition of Marcus Mariota and the team's decision to tender a contract to Nathan Peterman (elbow), rendering Kizer an expendable piece. Since serving as a 15-game starter for the 0-16 Browns in 2017, Kizer has appeared in three contests the past two years, with all coming as a member of the Packers in 2018.

No game appearances
Kizer was active for four games but didn't play a snap during the 2019 season.
Analysis: The 24-year-old served as the team's No. 3 quarterback and was a healthy scratch through the first 12 games of the season, but he supplanted Mike Glennon for the backup job down the stretch. The increased role indicates Kizer was making a solid impression at practice, but he never ended up seeing the field with starter Derek Carr remaining healthy. Kizer is heading into the final year of his rookie deal in 2020, and he should have the upper hand over any newcomers in retaining the backup job…read more

Jumps to No. 2 role
Kizer supplanted Mike Glennon as the No. 2 quarterback on Oakland's roster Thursday, Vic Tafur of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Kizer has been a healthy scratch for the Raiders all season, but he stands to be active against Tennessee on Sunday as the top backup to Derek Carr. As a result, Mike Glennon will likely serve as the team's reserve option going forward.
